Our Story
In 2004, Margaret co-founded one of Australia’s first medical billing companies, Pulse Medical Management, just as the so-called “simplified billing” schemes were rolled out – though they were anything but simple. Demand from medical specialists was immediate and overwhelming; Margaret had clients before she even had a business.
From there, in 2009, Synapse was born and quickly became home to the most advanced medical billing system in the country – bar none. No one has more experience navigating the complexities of Australia’s health payment system. But billing was just the beginning.
Today, Synapse is so much more: a trusted partner working across the entire healthcare sector for the 3 Ps – patients, payers, and providers – ensuring money moves through the system fairly, accurately, and transparently.
